More About me
Education
I earned an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP) from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). This program’s holistic approach encouraged me to develop a personal vision of psychology, integrating modern therapeutic frameworks with spiritual, multicultural, and liberatory practices. It emphasized working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in ways that honor both their inner experiences and broader social contexts.

Through this training, I developed skills to assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, focusing on their strengths, resilience, and worldviews. Diversity awareness was deeply embedded in the program, challenging me to explore my own biases, engage with cultural differences, and apply sensitivity in clinical practice.

Personal growth was a cornerstone of my education, blending experiential learning, putting into practice theoretical knowledge. This journey prepared me to meet clients with authenticity, empathy, and insight, supporting them in ways that foster healing and transformation.

Post-Graduate Experience
As part of licensure I completed 3000 hours of supervision working in a diverse range of settings: agencies, schools, non-profits; and with different populations. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am required to complete ongoing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to maintain my license and stay current on best practices, guidelines, and laws in the field. I am always learning so as to ensure I provide the best possible care for my clients.
